"I am sure many of you have heard of the Air and Law companies. They are those players who wish to increase their runecrafting level quickly, whilst letting the public get free runes!
However, with the new 3k trade limit, rune running will be destroyed. The price of the runes and essence that the crafter gives to the runner exceeds what the runner gives to the crafter by more than 3k. (In most cases) Not to mention, because runners are making profit, they will not be able to exceed 3k gp worth of profit in runes per 15 minutes. This slows down runners and gives them no reason to run at all. This will cause crafters to recieve many less runners. This therefore makes the idea of Rune companies obsolete.
Some people have suggested that we should just use the assist system instead. However, with the 30k cap on experience this still makes Runerafting very slow, even slower than without companies! However, if the assist system was changed too support rune companies. This may be a good idea.
Essentially, this means that something has to be changed. I am not ranting and I really like what Jagex is doing to the game. I wish other players could see their good intentions too, but alas there will always be unhappy people. Thank you Jagex, for these wonderful updates, but please work on a solution for running. I am sure this applies to many other things too, besides runecrafting, but I am not to knowledgeable in the subject.
